PRESS RELEASE: St. Croix Valley Raceway Debuts The Wisconsin Minnesota Modified Clash
St. Croix Valley Raceway (SCVR), in conjunction with Mastell Brothers Trailer Service, is excited to offer a unique program for WISSOTA Modifieds and their fans, called "The Wisconsin Minnesota Modified Clash", when the modifieds are part of SCVR’s full weekly show.
The program will reward the top 5 WISSOTA Modified teams from each state at the end of the year. Rick Mastell owner of Mastell Brothers Trailer Service and SCVR, said, “Top modified teams from both Minnesota and Wisconsin have committed to race at SCVR in 2014. This will be a great opportunity for our loyal and new fans to see the best modified drivers from both states compete at SCVR.”
In addition, this program will give spectators a unique entertainment value as they will be able to cheer on a “team” of drivers from their home state. “The clash is going to create a rivalry between the fans from each state,” said Rick Mastell. “The atmosphere on clash nights will rival being at a Packer/Vikings football game. It will be loud and fun.” More specifics will be released in the near future.
The 2014 season kicks off on Saturday afternoon, April 19th with a practice for all divisions. For more information on St. Croix Valley Raceway, please go to www.scvraceway.com or find us on Facebook.
