St. Croix Valley Raceway (SCVR) in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin is the place to be on Friday nights during the summer for families looking for a unique entertainment experience at a great price. Fast and intense racing in six divisions is our specialty, but there are many more reasons to visit us throughout the season.
Theme nights are popular at SCVR, as evidenced on June 20 with the Hilarious Trailer Races. How hilarious? Have you ever seen a truck race while towing a boat trailer? (Including the boat!) How about a trailer hauling a slightly used recliner? Les Mishler’s “Despicable Me” themed truck/trailer rolled over – and kept on racing! Dylan Franklin and his “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle” trailer eventually won the fun and mayhem filled event. This Friday, July 4th, is Free Food and $1 Beer Night. The Ultimate Kids’ Night occurs on August 1st includes a huge fireworks display and bike giveaways. Our annual “Crash-Tastic Smash-O-Rama/Halloween In September” is another kid favorite, with costumes, trick-or-treating on the track, and lots of crashing and destruction during the night.
Our entertainment value doesn’t stop there. Terry, our announcer has as much fun as the fans and also provides insight on many of the heroes racing on the track. SCVR’s mascot – “Traditional” the troll – roams the grounds most of the night and entertains the kids. Nightly giveaways are a big part of each and every night at SCVR. Trackside parking is available for tailgating right from your vehicle while you watch the on-track action. A night at SCVR would not be complete without going into the pit area after the races to meet the drivers and see the cars up close.
Our fans rave about our high-quality food! Treat yourself to our mouth-watering 1/3 pound “Bullring” burger on a Ciabatta bun, brats with sauerkraut, pulled pork sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, and more. Also, we are now serving wine.
A trip to SCVR offers families a unique and fun night of entertainment at a great value. Kids 12 and under are always FREE; kids 13-18 are only $5 and adult admission is $12 (just $10 with military ID and those 60 and over).
